Description:Escape for a short while into the fascinating world of wrecks and rescues, the brave Port Phillip Sea Pilots who bring ships safely through the treacherous "Rip" and into the Port. The Maritime Museum features the lifeboat "Queenscliffe", heritage listed Fishermens Waiting Shed, an authentic fishermans cottage, Lighthouse displays, the Torpedo Boat HMVS " Lonsdale" buried in the museum grounds. There are also artefacts from wrecks and "hands-on" displays for children to enjoy
