| The Country Fire Authority together with the Borough of Queenscliffe will be holding a public meeting for the residents of Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff to discuss bushfire survival and on how to develop and implement their own Bushfire plans for their family and property.
The meeting will be held at the:
Point Lonsdale Surf Life Saving Club,
corner of Ocean and Buckleys Road, Point Lonsdale
on Saturday 18th April 2009, from 11.00am to 2.30pm
This is a free bushfire planning work shop that is conducted by a trained Country Fire Authority facilitator with involvement of the Municipal Fire Prevention Officer, Council's public Places & Facilities Coordinator Queenscliff Fire Brigade, Queenscliff Police, Parks Victoria, Department of Sustainability& Environment, Community Fire Guard groups in Point Lonsdale and residents.
