THURSDAY 22ND OCTOBER Talk by Bryan Marra on Colonel Umphelby A past Commandant of Fort Queenscliff, who lead a contingent to the Boar War where he was wounded and subsequently died. Colonel Umpelby was an admired citizen of Queenscliff and was active at the local Golf Club and Bowling Club in the 1890's. Talks 10.30am at Uniting Curch Hall, Queenscliff. Member $3, non-member $5.
