Queenscliffe and District Neighbourhood House

The Neighbourhood House provides social, educational and recreational programs for the whole community according to interest and need.

Queenscliffe Visitor Information Centre

The Queenscliffe Visitor Information Centre services both Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale, and is open from 9.00am to 5.00pm every day. The friendly staff offer a wide range of services, including expert advice on the local area, accommodation referral, internet access, heritage tours, and local ticket and souvenir sales.

Rotary Club of Queenscliffe

Providing a service to the local and international community. Activities relate to hands-on projects, fund raising, commitment to youth and educational programs, etc.

The Bellarine Railway

The railway has been operated and maintained by volunteers since 1979 and features a unique collection of heritage locomotives and carriages from around Australia.

Through the support of its dedicated Volunteers the railway is able to offer a variety of trips and experiences that appeal a range of people, including:

  • Heritage Steam Train Service
  • Private Carriage Hire
  • School Holiday activities
  • Group, School and Special Occasion Charters
  • Easter Bunny and Santa Train Specials
  • Day out with Thomas Events
  • Train Driver Experience Days

New Volunteers are always welcome to drop in and see if they would like to get involved – roles include station staff, train crews, maintenance and workshop jobs, gardening and more.

The Rip Chamber Incorporated

The Rip Chamber Inc. plays a significant role in planning and implementation of economic development activities at the local level. This includes; marketing, promotion and media for tourism opportunities. It has direct business representation in planning, trading matters, on Borough Sub-Committees and is active in planning for tourism, camping, recreation and streetscape.
