Other ways to secure grant funding

Aside from Council's Community Grants program, there is a range of ways in which individuals, groups and not-for-profit organisations can source funding. The following provides handy tips and advice on how to secure grants and funding.

The Grassroots Grants resource kit can be used by a wide range of organisations, including sporting or recreation clubs, community managed welfare services, education providers, associations, church groups, service clubs, community centres, resident groups, support groups and environmental groups.

Queenscliff Point Lonsdale Community Enterprise Grants

QPLCE is a community-owned entity that operates in partnership with the Bendigo Bank. Grant opportunities are advertised in the local newspapers.

Department of Planning and Community Development 

DPCD works with local communities and groups throughout Victoria and administers over 24 grant programs across three main themes:
