Destination Queenscliff will ensure that the precinct made up of Shortland’s Bluff, Fort Queenscliff and Ocean View is recognised as one of the most magnificent coastal locations in Victoria. The key elements of the project include:
Council prepared a community survey to capture feedback on the draft concept plans for Destination Queenscliff, and invited written feedback submissions. Community feedback about the draft concept plans was invited from Friday 18 May 2018 until Friday 15 June 2018.
Council also scheduled a series of Community Open House Sessions about Destination Queenscliff. These were held in the RSL Hall, corner Hesse Street and King Street, Queenscliff, on the following days:
Members of the public were invited to drop in at any time during the sessions. The draft concept plans were on display, and members of the Destination Queenscliff design team, Council officers and Councillors were on hand to listen to feedback and answer questions.
Council has released two previous Community Bulletins to keep people informed about the aims and progress of the Destination Queenscliff project.
