Thank you for your feedback
Thank you to everyone who completed the car parking and tourism and directional signage surveys in 2016.
Community consultation on these projects is now complete, however work is ongoing and we will provide further updates as project milestones are achieved.
Following an audit of all street signs within the Borough, works will be undertaken to upgrade 130 street signs. A large number of street signs were identified as being varied in colour and text, unreadable or missing. The replacement of signs will result in uniform street signage across the Borough.
At the Ordinary Meeting on April 24 2016, Council passed a motion to seek the views of the community on matters relating to customer car parking in the Queenscliff CBD, King Street Queenscliff and the Point Lonsdale shopping precinct via the car parking survey.
Council has commenced work on the Tourism Directional Signage project. The project looks at how visitor signage policies and processes can be improved for the Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale region, including along the roads leading to the Bellarine Peninsula.
