Council appoints new reference group
The Borough of Queenscliffe Council has appointed a new reference group to provide information and feedback to Council on the detailed design of the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse Reserve (PLLR).
Expressions of Interest, advertised in the Geelong Advertiser, the Echo, and on the Borough of Queenscliffe’s website, closed on Friday 17 March 2017. The nine members were approved by Council at its most recent meeting on Thursday 30 March.
“I am delighted to welcome the members of the new Point Lonsdale Lighthouse Reserve Reference Group, continuing to facilitate community consultation on this exciting project,” Mayor Tony Francis said.
The following nine community members have been appointed to the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse Reserve Reference Group:
Two Councillors, Cr Bob Merriman and Cr Boyce Pizzey, will complete the membership of the reference group.
The initial meeting of the PLLR reference group is to be scheduled.
