Get ready for Council’s 2018 e-waste drop-off day

Tuesday, 15 May 2018

The Borough of Queenscliffe’s annual e-waste drop-off day will be held this Saturday 19 May 2018 from 9.00am to 2.00pm at the Ocean View Car Park in Queenscliff.

Borough ratepayers are invited to gather up old, broken or unwanted e-waste items such as televisions, computers and computer equipment, printers, cameras and mobile phones and bring them to the e-waste drop-off event.

Batteries should be removed from e-waste items and can be brought to Council’s offices at 50 Learmonth Street, Queenscliff, for recycling.

Please note that household batteries, whitegoods including fridges, freezers, ovens / stoves, dryers and washing machines, air conditioners and smoke detectors cannot be accepted for collection.

For a full list of what can and can’t be collected, head over to the E-waste Drop-off Day page on Council’s website, www.queenscliffe.vic.gov.au, or call us on 5258 1377.
