Clean Up Australia Day

This is your chance to help clean up your local park, beach or street.


Clean up Australia Day will be held on Sunday March 6, 2016 from 10am to 12pm.

Clean-up Sites:

  • Murray Road, Queenscliff
  • Along McDonald Road to Burnt Point, Queenscliff
  • Queenscliff Lonsdale Yacht Club

How to get involved

Two locations within Queenscliff have been selected for Clean-Up Australia Day 2016.

On Sunday, March 6, volunteers must meet up with the Site Supervisor at the nominated meeting point and complete the Volunteer Registration Form.

Clean-up sites and meeting point are as follows;

Clean-Up Sites:

  • Site 1: Down Murray Road to McDonald Road, focussing on the walking track to Burnt Point and the fishing spots at the end of the track.
  • Site 2: Up Murray Road and along the water’s edge from Lakers Cutting towards Swan Bay.

Queenscliff Indigenous Nursery

What you need to bring;

Rubbish and waste collection bags will be provided. Please bring a pair of sturdy gloves and we recommend you wear closed shoes and long pants.
