The Borough of Queenscliffe, which includes the townships of Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale, is located on the Bellarine Peninsula on the western side of Victoria's Port Phillip Bay.
The Borough is bordered by water on three sides: Port Phillip Bay, Swan Bay and Bass Strait.

Car
It's an easy drive to Queenscliff from Melbourne. Take the M1 freeway to Geelong then follow the signs to the B110 arterial to Queenscliff.
Alternatively, you can travel from Melbourne down to the Mornington Peninsula to Sorrento and take the Queenscliff–Sorrento car ferry. See the Searoad Ferries website or below for more information.
Train – V/Line
There are multiple daily services from Southern Cross Station in Melbourne to Geelong. These connect to the regional bus network. See the V/Line website for details.
Bus route 75/76 – Linking Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale with Geelong
Bus services operate between Queenscliff / Point Lonsdale and the Geelong Hospital and Geelong Railway Station. The service operates via: Railway Terrace, Mercer Street, Malop Street, Yarra Street, Little Malop Street, Bellarine Street, Ryrie Street, Geelong Hospital.
The bus operates between Queenscliff / Point Lonsdale and the Geelong Hospital via: Sydney Parade, Ormond Road, Bellarine Highway, Fellows Road, Ocean Road, Point Lonsdale Road, and Bellarine Highway to Ferry Terminal.

Ferry service – Sorrento to Queenscliff
Two car ferries operate between Queenscliff and Sorrento. They depart every hour, on the hour, every day of the year. Take the car or consider travelling as a foot passenger.
- From Sorrento – on the hour every hour from 7 am to 6 pm
- From Queenscliff – on the hour every hour from 7 am to 6 pm
