| Business - Getting Started
Council staff can offer business owners/operators advice on getting their business started in the Borough. Staff can also put businesses in touch with local and regional business organisations and networks and provide information on grants schemes and business contacts, such as:
* Department of State and Regional Development;
* Business Victoria;
* Geelong Chamber of Commerce
* Tourism Victoria; and
* other regional Tourism organisations.
Council staff will also introduce business owners/operators to the relevant Council departments so that their queries can be dealt with according to Council policy and regulations.
Further advice regarding getting businesses started should be obtained from other Council departments, including:
* Planning & Development;
* Environmental Health; and
* Engineering
