| The next Green Waste Collection is scheduled for early December. We will advise the date when confirmed by contractor.
Residents will be advised by a notice which will be letter box dropped to all properties within the municipality.
The following rules apply to all Green Waste Collections:
All material should be placed within 2 metres (6 Feet) of the road surface in a clear, accessible location, and should be placed out for collection no later than 6.00am on the day of collection.
Preparation of Green Waste for Collection as follows:
1. All materials should be securely tied with string or twine. Please no wire ties as the material will be fed through a mulcher.
2. Bundles to be no longer than 1.2 metres (4 feet) and a width no greater than 40 centimetres (16 inches). Material not in compliance with these guidelines unfortunately cannot be collected.
3. There is no limit to the number of bundles of green waste collected.
The following materials will NOT be collected:
No roots or stumps
No grass, weeds or bagged waste
No Canary Island Palm, Box Thorn or Rose prunings
No Pampas Grass
Any items placed out for collection late will not be collected and will be the responsibility of the resident to dispose of appropriately.
