CONDITIONS FOR USE OF COMMUNITY EVENT BOARDS

• Approval for use shall only be issued to local community based Clubs and Organisations.
• Approval for use shall not be issued to local businesses.
• Approval for use must be sought from Council prior to the display being erected, at no charge. The organisation shall supply a contact name and phone number of a person responsible for the event advertising signage. Council’s Customer Service Staff will then formalise booking.
• Events boards are situated at Bellarine Highway, Point Lonsdale and Lawrence Road, Point Lonsdale.
• There shall be no more than two (2) signs per event displayed at any one time.
• Display of signs will be approved for a period not greater than 4 weeks prior to the event and will be removed no later than 3 days after the event.
• In the event of high demand for the Banner Boards, Council guarantees an advertising period of 1 week prior to the event. If a longer period has been booked, Council will, at its discretion, remove boards as required to accommodate other community groups.
• There shall be no more than two (2) signs per event displayed at any one time.
• In the event of high demand, Council may remove one (1) sign to accommodate other community groups.
• The signs are to be 1200mm x 1200mm corflute. A 50mm ‘buffer’ is required around the edge of the signage to allow for framework and to maximise visual effect.
• Organisations are responsible to provide the relevant signage (made to correct specification) to Council no earlier than 1 week prior to the advertising period and organise collection of signage from Council after the advertising period has ceased.
• Council staff will arrange placement of signage in the event boards. Under no circumstances are organisations to access event boards.
• Signs must not contain wording or symbols that may be offensive in any way.

ALL BOOKING ENQUIRIES SHOULD BE REFERRED TO COUNCIL'S CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF.
