Under Victoria’s current COVID-19 Directions and the Roadmap for Reopening, restrictions to travel within some parts of Victoria still apply.
Acknowledging that some property owners may need to prepare their properties in regional Victoria for the fire season, the Victorian Government has created a permit system whereby owners can apply to their council for permission to travel. Councils must assess these applications on merit and determine whether the works and subsequent travel are required.
You can apply for a permit to undertake fire prevention works on a property you own using the form on this page. Please note: you are not permitted to travel unless you receive a written letter of approval from the Borough of Queenscliffe. Travelling without this letter may result in a breach of coronavirus health directives.
