From 11:59pm on Thursday 17 June 2021, regional Victoria, including the Borough of Queenscliffe, is moving into new COVIDSafe settings. Metropolitan Melbourne is also moving to new COVIDSafe settings, including the removal of the 25km travel limit: travel between metropolitan and regional Victoria is now unrestricted. Face coverings must be continue to be worn indoors at all times, and outdoors if you can't maintain 1.5 metres physical distancing. Services and facilities

Here at the Borough of Queenscliffe, the health and safety of our community is our first priority. Because of the coronavirus pandemic, some of the services and events we deliver have changed to protect our community.

Customer service

Council's customer service centre at 50 Learmonth Street, Queenscliff is once again open for business to in-person visitors. If you would prefer, our customer service team are also available to contact via email and phone. You can email us at info@queenscliffe.vic.gov.au to make payments, ask questions, or handle any other Council business. You can also call us on (03) 5258 1377. Our customer service team are available during business hours: 9:00am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Please be aware that it may take us more time to respond to enquiries as we put extra resources into managing community health. If your enquiry is particularly urgent, please let our staff know.

Home care

Council is still delivering home care services to clients, and these services include extra precautions to keep you and our staff healthy. Staff may now ask you questions from outside your door or over the phone before entering your home, and are wearing extra protective equipment. These changes help keep you safe. If you receive home care services through Council and have questions about your care, please contact our home care team directly.

Visitor information

The Visitor Information Centre at 18 Hesse Street, Queenscliff is once again open for business to in-person visitors. You can also call the VIC on (03) 5258 4843 or email them at info.centre@queenscliffe.vic.gov.au.

Library

The Queenscliff Library at 18 Hesse Street, Queenscliff is has now reopened as of Monday 7 June 2021. More details are available at the Geelong Regional Libraries website.

Caravan parks

Queenscliffe Tourist Parks is pleased to welcome back visitors. Contact the QTP team via email or give them a call at (03) 5258 1765 to enquire or make a booking.

Beaches

Beaches in the Borough of Queenscliffe are again fully open to all visitors, but public health guidelines and gathering limits should be observed at all times.

Playgrounds, skate parks and outdoor exercise equipment

Outdoor physical recreation and sporting equipment are again fully open to all visitors, but public health guidelines and gathering limits should be observed at all times.

Public toilets

A small number of public toilets have been closed in Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale, but most toilets are operating with regular cleaning schedule. Please obey all signage on site at public toilets in the Borough.

Boat ramp

The Queenscliff boat ramp is currently closed due to Better Boating Victoria upgrade works. See BBV's website for more information.
