Bellarine Lighthouse Films

The 2022 Bellarine Lighthouse Film Festival has much to celebrate as the annual event turns ten. To mark this incredible milestone, the festival organisers have secured a guest worthy enough to kick-start and open the tenth annual Bellarine Lighthouse Film Festival from 24-26 June 2022.

Don't miss this rare opportunity to see the legendary film critic, writer, producer, television personality and author, Margaret Pomeranz in conversation with podcaster and food writer Dani Valent. Joining Margaret is her daughter-in-law, Pippy Pomeranz, who is an executive producer, director and author with over two decades of experience in film and television. Together, they will be discussing their cookbook, Let's Eat celebrating film, food and family.

The 2022 film program is a feast of world cinema from France, China, Japan, Finland and Bhutan and will be screened across various session times on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June. The collection of five fine-art-films highlights the beauty in simple pleasures, embracing change, new beginnings and forces us to reflect on what matters most in life.

Opening night festivities will be food-centric with wine and cheese on arrival at 6.30pm (sponsored by Scotchmans Hill Wines) and the French gastronomic masterpiece Delicious, by Eric Besnard, screening post-talks with Margaret.

Gather and dine under the big screen with friends and share in a unique food adventure with an Iraqi two-course meal at 5.30pm on Saturday 25th.
