The Community Environment Alliance grants program supports local, non-profit organisations and groups to reduce their carbon emissions and preserve the Borough’s natural environment.
Successful grants will support, enhance and improve environmental sustainability in the local community. Projects may include environmental education, waste reduction and recycling initiatives, energy efficiency upgrades, revegetation and water conservation within the Borough of Queenscliffe.
Details on the 2021–22 Community Environment Alliance Grants Program will be released soon.
The maximum grant available is $3,000. Applicants must match the grant amount on a $ for $ basis, either in cash and/or through in-kind contributions. Grant funding cannot be used to fund the applicant organisation’s normal day-to-day operation (including regular projects, administration activities and staff salaries) or catering costs. The program is fully funded by the Borough of Queenscliffe.
