The Local Government Act 2020 requires Council to prepare a budget for each financial year and provide the opportunity for people to make a submission on any proposal contained in the budget. The Borough of Queenscliffe Council adopted the 2020–21 Budget and 2020–21 Implementation Plan at the Ordinary Meeting of Council held on Thursday 18 June 2020.

2021 draft budget

Council released its draft budget and draft revenue and rating plan for residents to consider after the pair of documents were endorsed for public exhibition at the April 2021 Ordinary Meeting of Council. The budget includes substantial investment in public facilities and protecting the environment.
