Australia Day

Australia Day celebrations are held annually at the Queenscliff Town Hall on 26 January.

The celebrations include:

• An official flag raising ceremony
• Address from the Mayor
• Australia Day Awards presentation
• Presentation by an Australia Day Ambassador
• Live performance by a local entertainer

The Queenscliffe Community Nursery gives away a free native tree to each family at the celebration, a sausage sizzle will be provided by the Lions Club and there will be lots of fun children's activities.

Australia Day celebrations are a community event where everyone is welcome.
