Things to do

Tourist parks

We operate four caravan parks across Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale, including sites for camping and cabins.

Visitor Information Centre

Council's Visitor Information Centre helps thousands of tourists every year with advice and recommendations on accommodation, activities and eateries.

Events

From sports carnivals to music festivals to community markets, there's always something happening in the Borough.

Parks and public spaces

The Borough's unique coastal environment allows for plenty of open space to play, exercise and relax in.

Volunteering

Queenscliffe has the highest rate of volunteering in the state, and for good reason – there are so many worthwhile community organisations and sporting clubs that you can lend a hand to.

Community directory

This directory lists the details of all clubs, associations and non-profit organisations operating in the Borough. You can also submit your own organisation for inclusion in the directory.

Acknowledgement of Country

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags side by side

Council acknowledges the Traditional Owners of these lands, waters and skies, the Wadawurrung People. We acknowledge and respect their continuing connections to their lands, waters, skies, culture and the contribution they make to the life and spirit of our community. We pay respect to their past and present Elders and their emerging leaders, and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
