National Volunteer Week (NVW) is Australia's largest annual celebration of volunteering. This year's campaign – themed "Better Together" – was promoted from 16 May to 22 May 2022.
The Borough holds a volunteer celebration event around this time each year, which is attended by the Mayor and CEO. The event recognises and celebrates the significant contributions of the many volunteers throughout Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale.
The Victorian Government's volunteer.vic website contains plenty of information about volunteering – from projects and events to publications and resources, and even awards.
