We're created an Access and Inclusion plan to help make our Borough more accessible to all.

Road Management Plan 2025-29

At the September Council Meeting, Council adopted the 2025 – 2029 Road Management Plan.

Community Vision & Council Plan 2021

At the start of every new term, Council produces strategic documents that outline the focus of our work for the entire term. In line with new Victorian Government legislation, we've created two separate documents that plan for the future – the Community Vision and the Council Plan.

Aged care review

We conducted an aged care review to decide on the role Council would play in supporting older people stay active and well in the community.

Active Transport Strategy

Walking, wheeling and cycling aren’t just healthier ways to get around, they make our community safer and reduce our impact on the environment. An Active Transport Strategy will help us improve pedestrian and cycling options the whole Borough.

Fisherman's Flat Heritage Review

Council has engaged Ecology and Heritage Partners to undertake a review of the heritage values at Fisherman’s Flat.

Budget 2025–2026

The 2025-2026 Budget and Revenue and Rating plan was adopted at the June 2025 Ordinary Meeting of Council.

Queenscliff Traffic Management Strategy

Ratio Consultants, with input from Council engineering staff, have developed a draft Traffic Management Strategy for the township of Queenscliff.

Developed a Disability Lived Experience Reference Group

Council developed a reference group of people who represent diversity in our community, understand disability through experience, and can advise and guide us as we update our Disability Inclusion Action Plan.

Tree management in Victoria Park

Victoria Park suffered major damage in a storm in 2021. Tree management works are underway, and we're working towards replacement planting.

Developing our Climate Emergency Response Plan

Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale are already being affected by the impacts of climate change. We face an increasing risk from coastal inundation, sea level rise and bushfires. As a community, we need to act now. That's why Council has created and adopted a Climate Emergency Response Plan.

New amenities at the Queenscliff Recreation Reserve

We've built a new amenities block for campers at the Queenscliff Recreation Reserve.

Dogs on beaches

We conducted a review of the Borough's ‘dogs on beaches’ laws to see if we need to make changes.

Traffic calming on Kirk Road

Following a trial period for the temporary roundabout at the corner of Kirk Road and Winterley Road, we conducted a review of the intersection. Council then resolved to revert back to a standard T-intersection, with additional measures to be undertaken to improve safety and reduce traffic speeds.
