The Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) establishes a legally enforceable right for the community to access information from certain records held by Council.

Documents under sections 7 and 8 of the FOI Act are available to the public. If you'd like access to these documents, you can lodge a request with our Freedom of Information Officer. An application fee of $32.70 applies if you're requesting documents under section 17 of the FOI Act. GST is not payable on any application fees or access charges under the FOI Act. The application fee may be waived or reduced if payment of the fee would cause hardship to the applicant.
