Waste and recycling

The way you sort food waste is about to change

Rubbish collection

Your 'red bin' is good for basically anything that can't be recycled or composted, but make sure you keep any electronic waste out of there.

Recycling collection

Your 'yellow bin' is good for paper, hard plastic, cardboard, glass and aluminium, as well as a few other inclusions that are covered off in our handy A-Z guide.

Green waste collection

Your 'green bin' is perfect for lawn clippings, weeds, leaves and small prunings that can be easily picked up by our roadside collectors.

Waste collection dates

Get a handy reminder as to when your bins are next being collected by typing in your home address.

Report a missed bin

Has one of your bins been missed? Complete this online form and Council will arrange for collection as soon as possible.

Report a damaged or stolen bin

Has one of your bins suffered damage or been stolen? Council can help repair or replace your bin by completing this online form.

Changing your bin sizes

Want a smaller-sized garbage bin? Need extra space for more recycling? Talk to Council about how we can accommodate your requests.

Hard waste collection

Find out when our next collection date is, or learn how you can dispose of hard waste all year round.
