Special Meeting of Council called for 11 February 2026

The Borough of Queenscliffe gives notice that a Special Meeting of Council has been called to consider the one item: the appointment of a Chief Executive Officer.  

The meeting will be held at Wirrng Wirrng (Queenscliffe Hub) at 12:30 pm on Wednesday 11 February 2026.  

This will be an in-person meeting, and consideration of the item will be closed to the public. 

This agenda item is deemed to contain confidential information as per section 3(1)(f) of the Local Government Act 2020 as it contains personal information, being information which if released would result in the unreasonable disclosure of information about any person or their personal affairs. This ground applies as this item is a personnel (human resources) matter. 

This Special Council Meeting is called pursuant to Council’s Governance Rules. Only the business as detailed above will be transacted at the Special Council Meeting.
