Council launches new tourism website

Council has launched a new tourism website to showcase the best of Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale.
The new ‘Visit Queenscliff and Point Lonsdale’ website aims to bring local business, attractions, experiences and events together in one place. Designed as a comprehensive visitor guide, it makes it easy to discover things to do, places to stay, dining options, upcoming events and unique local experiences across the Borough, while encouraging more people to explore, stay longer and support our towns.
Local business owners and operators were invited to a Borough Business After 5 event on Tuesday 16 June, where they met Council CEO Jane Grover and learned more about the new website and how their business can be featured.
Deputy Mayor Rule, Councillor Monahan and Councillor Cameron attended the launch, with the Deputy Mayor highlighting Council’s commitment to supporting local businesses and encouraging visitation to the region.
“The community spirit is strong in our Borough, and we’re committed to supporting local business and encouraging visitation to our region. She added the new tourism website is evidence of this, “It’s something that has been needed for some time and provides a great platform to better promote our region and showcase the fantastic businesses we have here”.
