Statement from Mayor Ross Ebbels: Cr Susan Salter to take leave of absence
Last week, Cr Susan Salter informed me that she will be taking a leave of absence from her role as a Councillor for a period of almost ten weeks from 25 August to the end of October. This leave will allow Cr Salter to focus on her health and recovery from an illness.
Having been fortunate enough to serve as a Councillor alongside Cr Salter for nearly five years, I can say with certainty that we will miss her passion and drive over the next ten weeks. On behalf of Council and our entire community, I want to wish Cr Salter well during her leave, and we look forward to her return in late October.
