The Bellarine Arts Trail is back this November with open studios, group exhibitions and demonstrations all Cup Weekend. Visit a stunning selection of the regions creatives across Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale & Queenscliff and celebrate their incredible skills. The Bellarine Arts Trail 2025, a free event, takes place on Melbourne Cup weekend on Sat 1 - Sun 2 November 10am-4pm and promises to be a vibrant mix of exhibitions and open studios, where visitors will have the opportunity to get up close and personal with artists and discover their work. Bellarine Arts Trail 2025 includes over 90 artists, showcasing their art in over 33 venues across Barwon Heads, Ocean Grove, Point Lonsdale and Queenscliff. The event contrasts larger exhibition spaces such as The Hive Gallery in Ocean Grove and the Queenscliff Town Hall with intimate artist open studios in each town, many which feature daily artist demonstrations. Every venue provides an opportunity for visitors to interact with artists, find out more about their influences, view and purchase art from the creators. Bellarine Arts Trail Coordinator Lou Kennedy said that the Bellarine’s unique coastal environment, nature, ocean, light and landscapes are key themes reflected in many of the artists’ work in this year’s trail. “Visitors to the trail will discover a huge diversity of art with artists working across a range of mediums including painting, sculpture, weaving, photography, print-making, ceramics and glass blowing and we’re thrilled to showcase the region’s creative talent and provide an event which directly supports artists.”
