Meet us at the Point Lonsdale Lighthouse for a relaxed Walk ’n’ Talk to areas where breeding pairs are often found. Guided by passionate volunteers, we’ll use binoculars and scopes to search for active nests and observe these remarkable birds safely from a distance. Along the way, you’ll also learn about the indigenous flora that supports our coastal habitats and explore how we can work together as a community to protect these precious environments. Note:Please do not attend if you are unwell. This event is also subject to weather conditions and will be postponed if weather is not safe or unfavourable. All participants will be notified 24 hours before. Any cancellations must go to info@bcn.org.au ASAP as limited spaces are available. This event would not be possible without the support and funding by the Victorian State Government and Coastcare Victorias Summer by The Sea program. This event is supported by the Borough Of Queenscliffe. For more information, please email us at info@bcn.org.au or visit www.environmentbellarine.org.au Bellarine Catchment Network acknowledges the Wadawurrung; Traditional Custodians of the land on which we work and live, and recognise their continuing connection to land, water and community.
