The Borough of Queenscliffe gives notice that it has placed the Heritage Review of Places in Fisherman’s Flat Precinct on public exhibition now until 4:30pm, Thursday 28th April 2023.
Council engaged Ecology and Heritage Partners to undertake a review of the heritage values of Fisherman’s Flat. Ecology and Heritage Partners were asked to:
- Review existing citations for places within Fisherman’s Flat
- Review the recommendations of the BoQ Planning Scheme Review (Lovell Chen 2021) as they relate to Fisherman’s Flat
- Confirm or modify the ‘contributory’ and ‘non-contributory’ classifications within Fisherman’s Flat
- Assess previously unidentified heritage buildings.
The draft is being released to offer the community the opportunity to review and provide feedback.
The document can be viewed by clicking the link on the right of this page. Submissions can be made in writing to info@queenscliffe.vic.gov.au or 50 Learmonth Street, Queenscliff VIC 3225. Submissions close 4:30pm, Thursday 28th April 2023.
