Every year, we invite community organisations and event hosts to apply for Community Grants and Event Sponsorships for ideas that support community, art and cultural projects and activities that enhance the wellbeing and quality of life of residents living in the Borough of Queenscliffe.
With applications opening on the 15th of April, we're hosting a free Grant Writing Workshop that will support community groups and organisations to strengthen their skills in preparing strong grant applications.
This workshop is for organisations based in the Borough, as well as those delivering programs or events within the municipality,
Participants will:
Receive an overview of the Borough of Queenscliffe Community Grants and Event Sponsorship Program and key assessment considerations
Learn how to structure a strong application that clearly responds to funding objectives
Understand how to demonstrate community benefit, outcomes and impact
Identify common mistakes that weaken applications and how to avoid them
Take part in a short practical exercise to strengthen their own project ideas
This event will take place on Tuesday the 14th of April from 6 pm to 7.30 pm at Wirrng Wirrng, 49/55 Hesse St, Queenscliff VIC 3225. This event is in person, meaning it will not be live streamed.
