Kerbside bins

Rubbish collection

Your 'red bin' is good for basically anything that can't be recycled or composted, but make sure you keep any electronic waste out of there.

Recycling collection

Your 'yellow bin' is good for paper, hard plastic, cardboard, glass and aluminium, as well as a few other inclusions.

FOGO collection

Your 'green bin' is now designed to hold both food organics and garden organics – think food scraps from cooking, and garden waste like leaves and twigs.

Report a missed bin

Has one of your bins been missed? Complete this online form and Council will arrange for collection as soon as possible.

Report a damaged or stolen bin

Has one of your bins suffered damage or been stolen? Council can help repair or replace your bin by completing this online form.

Change your bin size

Want a smaller-sized green bin? Need extra space for more recycling? Talk to Council about how we can accommodate your requests.

Check your bin day

Get a handy reminder as to when your bins are next being collected by typing in your home address.

Downloadable resources

Grab an extra copy of our fridge calendar or find out holiday rental information as part of this handy collection of resources.

Borough Bins app

Council's Borough Bins app gives you personalised reminders on what bin to use and when to take your bins out for collection.
