Sustainability

Climate Emergency Response Plan

We've created an award winning Climate Emergency Response Plan (CERP) that lays out the actions and steps we'll take with our community to achieve net zero emissions by 2031.

Go All Electric

Convert your existing gas appliances to highly-efficient electric ones to save money, increase comfort and help build a more sustainable future.

Saving Water

Water is one of our most valuable resources, and in a drought fraught country, it's important to make sure we can conserve as much as possible.

Take Action

See what programs are available locally to help you along your sustainability journey.

Acknowledgement of Country

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags side by side

Council acknowledges the Traditional Owners of these lands, waters and skies, the Wadawurrung People. We acknowledge and respect their continuing connections to their lands, waters, skies, culture and the contribution they make to the life and spirit of our community. We pay respect to their past and present Elders and their emerging leaders, and extend this respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
