In a Persian Garden: an afternoon concert and high tea

12 Jul 2025 A song cycle (1896) for four voices by Liza Lehmann, based on the legendary poem, "Rubaiyat" by Omar Khayyam and presented by the Dunolly Gilbert and Sullivan Society. The audience will not only enjoy a fabulous concert but also indulge in a high tea after the performance. The concert is to benefit the congregation at St Paul's, St Leonards, to help their recovery from last summer's terrible fire.

Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado

26 Jul 2025 The Mikado is Gilbert & Sullivan’s enduringly popular comic opera with memorable music, endearing characters, and some of the wittiest lyrical comedy in the English language. Featuring much loved songs such as “I’ve Got A Little List”, “A Wand’ring Minstrel I”, “Three Little Maids From School Are We”, and “The Flowers That Bloom in the Spring”.
