Cr Minty holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration and professionally has held senior roles in the travel and tourism industry in Australia as well as the USA, and roles in the consumer imaging industry through the Asia Pacific region. Cr Minty also volunteered in the Victorian Government’s Small Business Mentoring Service (SBMS).

Cr Minty has previously served as Councillor and was re-elected in 2023. 

Cr Minty was elected Deputy Mayor after the resignation of Cr Isabelle Tolhurst as Mayor at the April Ordinary Meeting of Council 2024. He will serve until the end of the term.
