The Borough of Queenscliffe gives notice that it has placed the Road Management Plan 2025-29 on public exhibition for a period of four weeks.

The Borough of Queenscliffe Council is the responsible road authority for over 40km of local roads, and road-related infrastructure, as defined within the Road Management Act 2004. The Road Management Plan (RMP) is a policy document that sets out the standards, policies, and systems we use to manage, inspect, repair, and maintain these assets.

The purpose of the Plan is to:

  • Establish a management system for the road management functions of a road authority which is based on policy and operational objectives and available resources; and

  • Set the relevant standard in relation to the discharge of duties in the performance of those road management functions.

Community members were invited to make submissions on the documents until 4pm on the 17th of August 2025. Submissions are being considered and will be incorporated into the plan.
