Construction

In order to ensure these new amenities can be built on time and in line with the requirements of our funding partners, you’ll see some initial works starting this summer. The following works will be taking place beginning autumn 2022:

Stage 1:
The existing amenities block will be demolished. Workers on site will put a range of protection measures in place to minimise disruption, including screening, and traffic and pedestrian management. We expect demolition work to take one week to complete.

Stage 2:
Ground services will be installed and the foundation slab will be poured. Fencing will remain in place, but noise and general activity will be more limited during this period.

Stage 3:
Construction work will continue over the course of the year. We anticipate the new facilities will be ready for use by summer 2022–23.

During construction, alternative toilets and showers will be available for campers. Our friendly Tourist Parks team will provide campers with details on where to access alternative facilities on check in.
