Get back to basics, pitch a tent and relax at Victoria Park. Adjoining the Queenscliff Recreation Reserve, Victoria Park is within easy walking distance to the Hesse Street shopping precinct, cafes and restaurants. Following the adoption of Council Policy 054: Victoria Park (PDF, 173KB)in August 2022, the park has been categorised into three separate sections, outlined below.

  • General Camping zones are open for camping from 1 December to 30 April each year, as well as on the weekend of the Queenscliff Music Festival (traditionally the last weekend of November annually)
  • Restricted Camping zones are open for low-impact camping (being camping with a tent, caravan or RV with a maximum open length of 6.5m) from 26 December to 31 January each year, as well as on the weekend of the Queenscliff Music Festival
  • Vegetation Reserve zones are permanently reserved for vegetation and are not open to any camping.
