Following the adoption of Council Policy 054: Victoria Park (PDF, 173KB)in August 2022, the park has been categorised into three separate sections, outlined below.

  • General Camping zones are open for camping from 1 December to 30 April each year, as well as on the weekend of the Queenscliff Music Festival (traditionally the last weekend of November annually)
  • Restricted Camping zones are open for low-impact camping (being camping with a tent, caravan or RV with a maximum open length of 6.5m) from 26 December to 31 January each year, as well as on the weekend of the Queenscliff Music Festival
  • Vegetation Reserve zones are permanently reserved for vegetation and are not open to any camping.
